What to Expect at The Dental Spa Bondi

Your first visit, step by step
- 1BookingBook online or call. We'll ask about your dental history and whether it's an emergency, so we're ready when you arrive. You'll get an SMS reminder the day before.
- 2ArrivingA herbal tea and a hot towel at reception, and help with any paperwork. We keep waiting to a minimum — if we're running behind, we'll tell you straight away.
- 3Meeting your dentistWe start by talking about your concerns and what you'd like from your care. Then headphones on, and your choice of show on the ceiling screen.
- 4Your planIf you need more treatment, we give you a written plan and quote before anything is booked.
What your first appointment includes
About an hour and fifteen minutes.
- Comprehensive examination of teeth and gums
- Digital x-rays, including a panoramic full-mouth x-ray
- Intra- and extra-oral examination
- Photos of your teeth
- Oral cancer screening
- TMJ jaw check
- Skin check for signs of cancer or sun damage
- A thorough teeth clean and fluoride treatment
Please bring any x-rays from previous dental visits.
What it costs, and how health funds work
Everything about paying, in one place.

- We work with all major health funds and process your claim at the appointment. You pay only the gap.
- Plans and fees
- Flexible payment plans are available. Preferred funds, first-visit fee, children’s scheme and plan providers
- Anything more
- If you need more treatment, we give you a written plan and quote before anything is booked.
Good to know
Where do I park?
There is street parking outside — in the mornings it is 30 minutes only, and our staff are happy to top up your meter. Or park two hours free at Westfield Bondi Junction and walk six minutes along Bronte Road.
I'm nervous about the dentist. What can you do?
Tell us when you book. We'll explain each step before we do it, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Can I bring my children?
Yes — we see the whole family. Children get to meet our soft-toy crocodile before their own check-up. For parents: helping your child overcome a fear of the dentist.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give us at least 48 business hours’ notice.
What do I take home?
A welcome pack with a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste and lip balm — and we call the next day to see how you're going.
